The short version
- Rycuta is in early access: features can change, and there is no uptime guarantee yet.
- Teams that use Rycuta with real candidate data sign a written agreement with us first.
- You keep your rights in what you put into Rycuta, and candidates keep theirs.
- AI assessments can be wrong. Review them; hiring decisions are yours.
- Don't use Rycuta to discriminate unlawfully or to misuse anyone's data.
01About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and AXONFOLD LLC, Mamikoniants 62, Yerevan, Armenia ("we", "us"), which operates Rycuta. By using rycuta.com or Rycuta, you accept them. If you use Rycuta for an organisation, you confirm you can accept these terms for it, and "you" means that organisation. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
02Early access
Early access is by invitation. Before your organisation uses Rycuta with real candidate data, we sign a written agreement with you, including a data processing agreement. Where that agreement differs from these terms, it takes precedence, and it sets any fees.
Features may change, be added or be removed as the product develops, and there is no service level guarantee yet. We will give you reasonable notice before early access ends, and help you export or delete your data.
03Accounts and workspaces
Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. A workspace's owner and admins decide who joins it and with which of the five roles, and you are responsible for what happens in your workspace.
04Your content and candidate data
Your content. You keep any rights you have in what you submit, such as job postings, criteria and notes. You let us host, copy, process and display it, including with AI, only to provide and secure Rycuta for you.
Candidate data. The people it describes keep their rights under data protection law. For candidate data you are the controller and we are your processor, so you need a lawful basis to collect it, must tell candidates how it is used (including that AI assists the assessment and people decide), and answer their requests, with our help.
05AI features
Rycuta's AI proposes criteria from your job descriptions, assesses each CV against them with its reasoning, and helps draft job descriptions. Its assessments are decision support and can be incomplete or wrong. Rycuta never advances or rejects anyone on its own: review the assessments and use your own judgment before any hiring decision.
You are responsible for following the employment, anti-discrimination, data protection and AI laws that apply to your hiring. Don't set criteria based on protected characteristics such as age, gender, ethnicity, religion or disability, unless the law expressly allows it for the role.
06Acceptable use
Don't use Rycuta to:
- discriminate unlawfully, or profile people for purposes other than hiring;
- publish misleading or fraudulent job postings;
- upload data you have no right to process, or malicious files;
- test the security of Rycuta without our written permission, or get around its limits;
- scrape, copy or resell Rycuta, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
We may unpublish a posting that breaks these terms or the law, and will tell you why.
07If you apply for a job
When you apply through a Rycuta apply page, you are applying to that employer, not to us. The employer's own terms and privacy notice govern your application, and the employer decides how it is assessed and what happens next. Please submit accurate information and only files you have the right to share. For questions about your data, contact the employer first; you can also write to info@rycuta.com.
08Ending your use
You can stop using Rycuta at any time. We may suspend or end access if you seriously break these terms, if your use puts others at risk, or if the law requires it; where we reasonably can, we will warn you first.
You can ask us at info@rycuta.com for an export of your data, or to delete it, including CV files. We complete these requests within one month.
09Intellectual property
We own Rycuta, including its software, design and documentation. These terms don't transfer any of it to you. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve Rycuta.
10Disclaimers and liability
During early access, Rycuta is provided "as is", to the extent the law allows. We don't promise it will be error-free or that AI assessments will be accurate. To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits. If we have a written agreement with you, it sets each party's liability. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, unless the law where you are gives you rights that can't be overridden.
12Changes and contact
We may update these terms. We will post changes here, update the date above and email customers about significant changes before they take effect.
